DMCA

At TheEmiratesInfo.net, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and are committed to ensuring our site content does not infringe on these rights. Our DMCA policy outlines the process for submitting copyright infringement claims and how we address these concerns to maintain the authenticity and legality of our content.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that violates copyright infringement and is accessible through our website, you are encouraged to notify us by submitting a detailed infringement notice. To be effective, the notice must include the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed upon.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed and, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
  • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of illegal activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material.
  • Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address at which you may be contacted.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of false testimony that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Please send your DMCA notice to our designated agent at contact@TheEmiratesInfo.net with the subject line “DMCA Notice” for quicker processing.
Response to DMCA Notices

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, TheEmiratesInfo.net will act within 48 hours to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. We will also take reasonable steps to notify the user who posted the content. This will provide them with an opportunity to dispute the claim if they believe the content was removed in error.

Counter-Notice

If you have received notification that your content was removed due to a copyright infringement claim and believe this was in error, you may submit a counter-notice. It must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the content that has been removed and the location where the content appeared before it was removed.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
  • Please provide your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district in which your address is located. If your address is outside the United Arab Emirates, for any judicial district in which TheEmiratesInfo.net may be found, you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or an agent of such person.
